About Us
The Child Care Center is a place where your child will be loved, valued and carefully nurtured. Where learning experiences will be ones of joy and success. We provide a comprehensive child-oriented program where the whole person intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social, is respected, nurtured, and guided into development. We apply the educational goals and structure of Creative Curriculum, a nationally respected, research-based curriculum. Our staff is carefully selected to be understanding and responsive to children, as well as trained in child development. Many of our full-time staff have been with the center for ten or more years. All staff attend ongoing in-service training, including CPR and First Aid, as well as regular early childhood education seminars.
Child Care Center Certifications
The Child Care Center maintains a high-quality standard of care and early education. The CCC is evaluated by national and regional accrediting bodies to stay at the forefront of early childhood education.
APPLE ACCREDITATION
APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) is a national early learning program accreditation. With over 1000 accredited programs and many more engaged in the process, APPLE is 'Solid to the Core'! In Florida, APPLE is accepted into the State of Florida's Gold Seal of Quality program.
VOLUNTARY PRE-KINDERGARTEN (VPK)
Florida was one of the first states in the country to offer free prekindergarten to all 4-year-olds. Children must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the current school year to be eligible. If their fourth birthday falls Feb. 2 through Sept. 1 in a calendar year, parents can postpone enrolling their child in VPK that year and wait until the following year when their child is 5.
